At a level, art is just learning techniques. So you bound the whole body by lines and hatches to learn how to draw, whereas at a bit higher level, art is the communication with audience, trust them and leave some parts of the model’s body blank, even without the assistance of hatching, audience can reconstruct them easily, I saw some kind of this idea in this work (her right arm-left in drawing), keep going on this way! don't touch the whole body!
